About Ajaduo 10/5mg Tab
Empagliflozin/Linagliptin is a combination medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by improving blood sugar control through two different mechanisms. Common side effects include increased urination, infections, and low blood sugar. It is crucial to follow your doctor's instructions carefully regarding dosage and to monitor for any adverse effects. Consult your doctor if you have concerns or experience any unusual symptoms.
Ingredients of Ajaduo 10/5mg Tab

    Empagliflozin

    A sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (sglt2) inhibitor.

    Linagliptin

    A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (dpp-4) inhibitor.

Direction for Use of Ajaduo 10/5mg Tab

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults inadequately controlled with diet and exercise alone.

May be used in combination with other diabetes medications such as metformin, insulin, or other oral agents.

How Ajaduo 10/5mg Tab Works

Empagliflozin works by blocking the SGLT2 transporter in the kidneys, preventing the reabsorption of glucose into the bloodstream and increasing its excretion in the urine. Linagliptin increases the levels of incretins, hormones that stimulate insulin release and suppress glucagon secretion, improving blood glucose control.
