About Memary Plus Tab
Donepezil/Memantine is a combination medication used to treat moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease. It works by improving brain function through different mechanisms. Common side effects include nausea, dizziness, and headache. It's crucial to follow your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and to report any concerning side effects immediately. Alcohol use should be moderated, and driving or operating machinery may be affected. Consult your doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or have kidney or liver problems.
Ingredients of Memary Plus Tab

    Donepezil

A cholinesterase inhibitor that increases the levels of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter important for memory and cognitive function.

    Memantine

An nmda receptor antagonist that modulates the effects of glutamate, another neurotransmitter involved in learning and memory, helping to protect brain cells from overstimulation.

Direction for Use of Memary Plus Tab

Moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease: This combination is used to treat the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease when symptoms progress despite treatment with donepezil alone.

How Memary Plus Tab Works

Donepezil inhibits acetylcholinesterase, increasing acetylcholine levels in the brain, improving cognitive function. Memantine blocks NMDA receptors, reducing the effects of excessive glutamate, protecting neurons from damage and improving cognitive function in a different way than donepezil. The combination aims for a synergistic effect, managing symptoms more effectively than either drug alone.

Storage and Handling of Memary Plus Tab

Store at room temperature (20°C to 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.

Dosage of Memary Plus Tab

Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual patient needs and tolerance.

Generally, the medication may be started with lower dosages of both Donepezil and Memantine and gradually increased under medical supervision.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully regarding frequency and timing of doses.
