Metcrol 0.03% Ointment (Tacrolimus) is an immunosuppressant medication that works by suppressing the body's immune system, preventing it from attacking the transplanted organ or causing inflammation in conditions like atopic dermatitis and ulcerative colitis.

Store tacrolimus at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not flush unused medication down the toilet or pour it down a drain.

It is usually taken twice a day, with or without food.
