Nicorandil

Is the active ingredient.

Treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris (chest pain) in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments.

May be used as an addon therapy to other angina medications.

Nicoduce 48mg Vial Inj (Nicorandil) acts through a dual mechanism: it opens potassium channels in the heart muscle (leading to vasodilation) and also acts as a nitrate, causing vasodilation of the blood vessels. This dual action improves blood flow to the heart, reducing angina symptoms.

Store at room temperature, below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by the physician based on the individual's condition and response to treatment. It typically begins with a low dose and is gradually increased.

Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and do not change your dosage without consulting them.

Nicorandil is typically administered orally (by mouth).

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may increase the risk of hypotension (low blood pressure). Avoid excessive alcohol consumption while taking Nicorandil.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Nicorandil may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding is generally not recommended unless the potential benefits clearly outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor.



Children

Not recommended for use in children; safety and efficacy have not been established.



Kidney

Patients with severely impaired kidney function may require dose adjustment. Consult your doctor.



Liver

Patients with severely impaired liver function may require dose adjustment. Consult your doctor.
