Olmesar M 50mg Tab (Metoprolol + Olmesartan Medoxomil) works by reducing the workload of the heart and improving blood flow. Metoprolol slows the heart rate and lowers blood pressure by blocking the effects of adrenaline on the heart and blood vessels. Olmesartan medoxomil lowers blood pressure by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By working together, these two medications help to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular problems.
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of Metoprolol + Olmesartan Medoxomil is determined by your doctor and depends on your individual needs and medical history.
It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.
