Pivasta 1mg Tab (Pitavastatin) is a statin medication that works by blocking the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in the production of cholesterol in the liver. By inhibiting this enzyme, pitavastatin reduces the production of cholesterol in the body and lowers levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, often referred to as “bad” cholesterol.
Store pitavastatin at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of pitavastatin is determined by your doctor and depends on your individual needs and response to treatment.
It is typically taken once a day, with or without food.
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.
