About Ranozex 1gm Tab
Ranozex 1gm Tab (Ranolazine) is a medication used to treat chronic angina (chest pain) in patients whose angina is not adequately controlled with other medications. It works by reducing the heart's oxygen demand. Common side effects include nausea, constipation, and dizziness. It's crucial to inform your doctor about all other medications you're taking, as well as any pre-existing liver or kidney conditions. Regular monitoring is necessary, particularly of heart rhythm and liver function. Do not stop taking ranolazine abruptly without consulting your doctor.
Ingredients of Ranozex 1gm Tab

    Ranolazine

    Is the active ingredient.

Direction for Use of Ranozex 1gm Tab

Chronic angina (chest pain) in patients who still experience angina despite optimal therapy with betablockers, calcium channel blockers, and nitrates.

How Ranozex 1gm Tab Works

Ranozex 1gm Tab (Ranolazine) works by inhibiting the late sodium current in cardiac myocytes. This reduces the amount of calcium that enters the cells during excitation-contraction coupling, thus decreasing myocardial oxygen demand and reducing angina symptoms. It doesn't directly affect heart rate or blood pressure significantly.

Storage and Handling of Ranozex 1gm Tab

Store at room temperature (20-25°C) in a tightly closed container, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage of Ranozex 1gm Tab

The starting dose is usually 500 mg twice daily. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your response and tolerance.

Take with or without food, but take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.

Do not abruptly stop taking ranolazine. Your doctor should gradually reduce your dosage if discontinuation is necessary to avoid potential complications.
