Treatment of Parkinson's disease (PD) as monotherapy or in combination with levodopa.

Rasalect 0.5mg Tab (Rasagiline) works by inhibiting the enzyme monoamine oxidase B (MAO-B). MAO-B is an enzyme that breaks down dopamine, a neurotransmitter involved in movement control. By inhibiting MAO-B, rasagiline increases levels of dopamine in the brain, which helps to improve motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease.
Store at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep out of reach of children.
The dosage of rasagiline is determined by your doctor.
It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
