Treatment of Parkinson's disease (monotherapy in early stages)
Rasalect 1mg Tab (Rasagiline) is a selective, irreversible inhibitor of monoamine oxidase type B (MAO-B). By inhibiting MAO-B, it prevents the breakdown of dopamine in the brain, leading to increased dopamine levels and improved motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C), protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual patient needs and response.
Common starting dose is 1mg once daily.
Dosage may be adjusted as needed, but should not exceed 1mg per day.
Take as prescribed by your doctor; do not alter dosage without consulting your physician.
It can be taken with or without food.
