Cefprozil is a type of antibiotic called a cephalosporin.It works by killing bacteria that cause infections.Cefprozil is available in oral suspension, tablets, and capsules.

Cefprozil is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including:

Ear infections (otitis media)

Skin infections

Throat infections (pharyngitis)

Sinus infections (sinusitis)

Bronchitis

Pneumonia

Refzil O 125mg Tab (Cefprozil) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that works by interfering with the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. This prevents the bacteria from growing and multiplying, ultimately leading to their death.

Store Cefprozil at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Cefprozil will vary depending on the type of infection you have and your age and weight.

Take Cefprozil exactly as directed. Do not take more or less than prescribed, and do not take it for a longer period than recommended.

You can take Cefprozil with or without food.

Do not crush or chew the tablets or capsules. Swallow them whole.

If you are taking the oral suspension, shake the bottle well before each use.

Use a medicine measuring spoon or cup to measure your dose.

Do not use a household spoon.

Alcohol Consumption
