Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in adults to improve glycemic control when used in combination with diet and exercise.
May be used as monotherapy in patients inadequately controlled with diet and exercise, or in combination with other antidiabetic medications.
This drug combination works in two ways to lower blood sugar levels: Dapagliflozin blocks the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, leading to increased glucose excretion in the urine, thus lowering blood sugar. Sitagliptin increases the levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP) which stimulate insulin secretion from the pancreas and decrease glucagon secretion. This leads to improved glucose regulation.
Store at room temperature, 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F), in a tightly closed container. Protect from moisture and light.
The usual starting dose is one tablet taken orally once daily, regardless of meal timing.
Dosage may be adjusted based on individual response and blood glucose control.

Common side effects include urinary tract infections, genital yeast infections, increased urination, and headache.
Serious side effects can occur, including dehydration, low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), allergic reactions, and ketoacidosis (a serious condition in people with diabetes).
Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Consult with your doctor.
