Soltus 400 Tab (Amisulpride) is a dopamine D2 and D3 receptor antagonist. It selectively blocks dopamine D2 receptors in the mesolimbic pathway (associated with positive symptoms) and has a lower affinity for D2 receptors in the nigrostriatal pathway (reducing the risk of extrapyramidal side effects). Its action on D3 receptors may contribute to its efficacy in treating negative symptoms.

Extrapyramidal symptoms (e.g., parkinsonism, akathisia, dystonia)

Alcohol should be avoided or consumed in moderation as it can increase the risk of sedation and other side effects.
Patients should avoid driving or operating machinery until they know how Amisulpride affects their ability to perform these activities. Sedation and dizziness are possible side effects.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is generally not recommended unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Discuss with your doctor.
