Formoterol: A long-acting beta2-agonist (LABA) bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles around the airways, making breathing easier.
Fluticasone propionate: An inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) that reduces inflammation in the airways, preventing symptoms like wheezing and coughing.
Maintenance treatment of asthma in patients aged 4 years and older.
Prevention of bronchospasm in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, aged 18 years and older.
Formoterol relaxes the airway muscles by acting on beta2-adrenergic receptors, resulting in bronchodilation. Fluticasone propionate reduces airway inflammation by suppressing the activity of inflammatory cells and mediators. The combination provides both bronchodilation and anti-inflammatory effects, improving lung function and reducing asthma or COPD symptoms.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not freeze. Discard the inhaler after the expiration date printed on the label.
