Levothyroxine sodium is the primary active ingredient. It's a synthetic form of thyroxine (T4), a hormone naturally produced by the thyroid gland.Different formulations may contain inactive ingredients such as fillers, binders, and coloring agents. Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid): This is the most common reason for prescribing levothyroxine. It replaces the missing or insufficient thyroid hormone.
Goiter (enlarged thyroid gland) in certain cases.

Myxedema coma (a severe form of hypothyroidism), though this requires immediate medical attention.
Euthyroid 100 Tab (Levothyroxine) acts by replacing the missing thyroid hormone T4. Once in the body, T4 is converted to T3 (triiodothyronine), the active form of the hormone, which then regulates metabolism, growth, and development.
Store levothyroxine tablets at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children. Do not use if the tablets are damaged or expired.

It's typically taken once daily, on an empty stomach, at least 30-60 minutes before breakfast.

Moderate alcohol consumption is generally not a concern, but excessive alcohol use can interfere with medication absorption and worsen potential side effects. Consult your doctor.
Levothyroxine can cause nervousness, tremors, and palpitations, which might impair the ability to drive or operate machinery. If experiencing these side effects, avoid driving or operating machinery until they subside.
