Ezomist 40mg Tablet (Esomeprazole) is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It specifically inhibits the enzyme H+/K+-ATPase, the final step in gastric acid secretion.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
Typically taken once daily, usually in the morning, before food.
Do not crush, chew, or break delayed-release capsules. Swallow whole with a glass of water.
