Ketoconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes, leading to fungal cell death. Piroctone olamine disrupts fungal cell membranes and inhibits fungal growth through a different mechanism, enhancing the overall antifungal effect.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage will vary depending on the specific product formulation and the condition being treated. Always follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.
Topical applications are usually applied to the affected area once or twice daily.
Oral formulations (if prescribed) should be taken as directed by your physician.
