Nikoran Od 20mg Tab (Nicorandil) acts through a dual mechanism: it opens potassium channels in the heart, leading to vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), and also acts as a nitrate, relaxing smooth muscle in blood vessels. This combined effect improves blood flow to the heart, reducing angina symptoms.
