Ambroxol

A mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough up.

Bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis)

Amoxicillin fights bacteria by interfering with their cell wall formation, leading to their death. Ambroxol thins and loosens mucus by stimulating the production of surfactant, a substance that reduces the stickiness of mucus.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children.

The dosage and frequency of administration will depend on the severity of your infection and your age. Follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist carefully.

This medication is usually taken orally, with or without food.

Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Children

Kidney

If you have kidney problems, you may need a lower dose of this medication.
