Olmesartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Amlodipine prevents calcium from entering the heart and blood vessel muscles, relaxing them and improving blood flow. Together, they effectively lower blood pressure.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.
Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.
It's usually taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not abruptly stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor.
