An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that helps relax blood vessels.
A thiazide diuretic that increases urine production, lowering blood volume and blood pressure.
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either medication alone.
Olmesartan Medoxomil blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Chlorthalidone increases the excretion of sodium and water from the body, reducing blood volume and thus blood pressure. The combination provides a synergistic effect, leading to greater blood pressure reduction than either drug alone.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any medication that is outdated or shows signs of degradation.

Dry mouth
Increased potassium levels (hyperkalemia)
Hypotension (low blood pressure)
Allergic reactions (rare but serious)
Alcohol can increase the risk of low blood pressure and dizziness. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.
Dizziness and lightheadedness can impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid these activities until you know how this medication affects you.
This medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or plan to breastfeed while taking this medication.
Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.
Caution is advised in patients with kidney disease. Dosage adjustments may be necessary.
