Sertaconazole works by interfering with the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts the fungal cell structure and leads to fungal cell death. Mometasone reduces inflammation and itching by suppressing the release of inflammatory chemicals in the skin.
Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected area twice a day.
Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the medication.
Do not apply the medication to open wounds or mucous membranes.
