Pepsigard O Susp 200ml (Oxethazaine) works by blocking the transmission of pain signals from the nerves to the brain. This creates a temporary numbing effect on the area where it is applied.
Store oxethazaine at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Do not use oxethazaine if it has changed color or consistency.
Discard any unused medication after the expiration date printed on the label.
Apply a thin layer of oxethazaine to the affected area as needed, not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
Wash your hands thoroughly after applying oxethazaine.
Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds.
Oxethazaine is generally safe and well-tolerated, but some people may experience side effects, such as:
Skin irritation, redness, or burning sensation
Dryness or flaking of the skin
