Ezetimibe

To lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other heart problems in people with high cholesterol and other risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or smoking.

Simvotin Ez 10mg Tab (Simvastatin + Ezetimibe) lowers cholesterol levels in the blood by working in two ways: Simvastatin blocks the enzyme in the liver that produces cholesterol, and Ezetimibe prevents cholesterol from being absorbed from the gut. This combined action helps to reduce the overall amount of cholesterol in the body.

Store at room temperature between 15-30°C (59-86°F) away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you based on your individual needs and medical history.

The recommended starting dose is usually one tablet taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

It is important to take your medication as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip doses or stop taking your medication without talking to your doctor.

Children

This medication is not recommended for children.



Kidney

Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage if you have kidney problems.



Liver

This medication may cause liver problems. Your doctor will monitor your liver function regularly.
