Tebria 20mg Injection (Tobramycin) inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, leading to misreading of mRNA and ultimately bacterial cell death. It is bactericidal (kills bacteria).
Store at controlled room temperature 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused portion after the expiration date.
Dosage is determined by the physician based on the severity of the infection, patient's weight, kidney function, and other factors.
Tobramycin can be administered intravenously or intramuscularly.
Ophthalmic formulations are administered topically to the eye.
